Cosmetic Dental Services available in this office include but are not limited to: Bleaching, Bonded Composite and Porcelain Restorations which can include Onlays, Crowns, Bridges, and Veneers. What makes our office unique in providing these services is that Dr. Schwan is a compulsive perfectionist with a solid background in the artistic demands of this type of dentistry. He is also very fortunate to have one of the most talented, well balanced and patient oriented staff in the area. Our independently owned and operated 'in-house' crown and bridge lab adds invaluable support to our restorative services.

Hi-Tech Dentistry enables Dr. Schwan to provide the latest improvements in quality and pain-free dental care. Some of the new technology includes the IntraOral Video Camera, the KineticCavityPrep, the Prisma Arc Curing Light and the Cerec-3.
The IntraOral Video Camera is indispensable for patient education and insurance verification(you can't deny what you can see). The KCP unit is an air abrasive powder driven by pressurized, warm air which allows for painless decay removal quite often without the need for local anesthesia. The Prisma Arc Curing Light provides the speed and depth of treatment attempted by use of Lasers but not as successfullly. By far, the newest and most exciting kid on the block is our Cerec-3.

Implant Dentistry is a very demanding and complex service. We do not pretend to be an "implant center" because all patients would benefit most from a collective effort. In concert with our exceptionally well qualified periodontal and oral surgery specialists we develop treatment options and after completion of the surgical phase, Dr. Schwan is able to provide all the restorative needs.

Preventive Dental Services include the prevention and diagnosis of oral disease and the resources to achieve good dental health through a team-like effort. Central to this area of care is our Oral Hygiene Program. We are very fortunate to have Joanne Linaberry as our hygienist. The level of care Joanne provides to all our patients is the best it has ever been in the 29 years Dr. Schwan has been practicing Dentistry in West Chester. Services include but are not limited to Oral Cancer Screening, Halitosis Prevention, Timely Radiographs, Conservative Periodontal Care and Patient Education. You haven't experienced a really good cleaning until Joanne has power washed your teeth with our Kavo Prophy Jet. Your tongue will be checking out those really smooth surfaces for days.
