Step 1: Impressions

It is vital that a good impression is taken. A good impression determines if your trays will fit right and snug. Accurate impressions are taken by experienced professionals to avoid any discomfort.

Step 2: Model

The models are poured within minutes of taking the impression to eliminate distortions. So called "mail order" tooth whitening systems take 10-15 days to create these models and distortions can form during this delay.

Step 3: Mouthpiece

The mouthpiece is vacuum molded to the model and trimmed for a proper fit. We then have you test out the mouthpiece while in our office so that any necessary adjustments can be made.

Step 4: Take Home Kit

The take home kit is custom selected by Dr. Schwan for your specific needs. Difficult stains may need a higher concentration of Carbamide Peroxide to yield better results.

Step 5: Application

The application is a simple process that Dr. Schwan will review with you. Instructions are customized for you and any questions you have will be answered at the time of your appointment.

Step 6: Results

Within a few days of starting your program, you should notice whiter teeth. Normal treatment takes about two weeks, while difficult stains will take longer.
